Frequently Asked Questions
Below is a list of frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not on this page, please feel free to call or email us!
Q. Where are you located?
A. We’re in the Spanish Valley area of Moab, 7m/13km south of downtown. Our physical address is 5501 South Highway 191, Moab, Utah 84532.
Q. Are you corporately owned?
A. No! We are one of the last privately owned Mom and Pop campgrounds left in Moab. Our owners have lived in Moab for a decade and have 6 kids. They are hands-on and are on-site almost daily.
Q. How far are you from Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park?
A. We are about 12 miles from Arches National Park and about 45 minutes from either entrance to Canyonlands National Park.
Q. Can I split my reservation between cabins if one cabin isn’t available in my entire date range?
A. Yes you can but you will need to make the reservation on the phone with us to keep your stay linked together in our system so we know you are moving cabins during your stay.
Q. Do you have laundry facilities on site?
A. Yes. We have a brand new guest laundry room on the south side of the bathhouse building at the center of the park.
Q. Can I stream content via your WiFi network?
A. No. We have basic WiFi set up for all guests to use. You will be able to surf the web and do email but streaming is not allowed. All of our sites are set up with Free Cable TV that you can watch if you wish though.
Q. Can I ride my Side by Side or ATV directly from your property and access trails?
A. Our only direct access from the property is onto Highway 191. Grand County does not allow you to ride on any paved roads unless you are street-legal in your state. If you are not street-legal you will need to trailer your vehicle to any trailheads. We offer utility trailer rentals on-site or at our sister location that you can pay a daily fee to use if you do not have capability to trailer your Side by Side (It’s called R & R Rentals).
Q. Do you have any other services on site?
A. We have a small camp store at the office that sells souvenirs, firewood, ice, drinks, snacks, and RV supplies. If your site doesn’t have a fire pit, we can provide you with a free portable one during your stay.
Q. Are there any restaurants close by in Spanish Valley?
A. The closest restaurants to us are Susie's Branding Iron & Hidden Cuisine. Domino's Pizza does delivery to the property as well.
Q. Are there any grocery stores nearby?
A. You can get some express groceries at the Shell, located at the corner of Hwy 191 & Spanish Valley Trail. City Market is a full-service supermarket in the town of Moab.
